Attending CVPR 2026 for the APAI Workshop
I attended CVPR 2026 in Denver, CO to present our paper Deepfake-Eval-2024: A Multi-Modal In-the-Wild Benchmark of Deepfakes Circulated in 2024 at the Authenticity and Provenance in the Age of Generative AI workshop.
It was my first time attending a conference in person and while I was only able to stay for the workshops, it was a great opportunity to meet researchers from around the world, listen to and engage with really interesting workshop and poster sessions, and present our work. It was especially cool meeting deepfake detection researchers and practitioners who use our dataset to evaluate systems.
I really appreciated the chance to be involved in the research community through the CVPR workshops before returning to research and graduate studies this fall. I am excited to start working again on AI safety and privacy concerns and to attend more conferences in the future!
